For more than five decades, Russ Taylor has helped families across Champaign County buy and sell their homes. He grew up on a farm, learned the value of hard work and honesty early, and has lived in Mahomet his whole life. A graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School, Taylor University, and the University of Illinois, Russ built his career on a simple belief: real estate is about people first, not transactions.
Russ began with Taylor Realty in 1972. Over the years he and his brother Nick owned and operated several brokerages, and in 2023 they brought it full circle, reestablishing Taylor Realty Associates as an independently owned firm serving the 217 area.
